May Rally Activities


Agenda for the Hoosier Cruiser Rally May 8, 9, 10, 2009

Going South on 65, take exit 5, turn right on Veteran’s Parkway. Go .2 mile to Giltner Lane and turn right. Go .2 mile to Progress Way and turn right. Go .4 mile to “Y”, stay left of “Y”. Follow signs to Add-More Campground. (Some GPS systems will put you on 31. Don’t do it!!!!!)

There is a $25 per coach registration fee plus $10 per person for Saturday’s catered dinner. Please make check payable to M.L. Remley on arrival.

Thursday arrivals:
Most sites are pull-thus. Should you want help Greg or Rem will be available. Pick up packets at office from Judy or Bettie.

No host Happy Hour starting at 4:30. Bring a munchie and your beverage. A no host dinner at Cheddars. Leave at 5:15 so we can be in the same room.

Friday arrivals: get packets from Judy
Breakfast: Bring a breakfast dish to share, juice provided, coffee pot is on. Please bring your own place settings.

Spend the day in Louisville or in and around Clarksville. See attached list for recommendations.

Lunch on your own. There are several good restaurants in all price ranges very close to Add-More or eat in Louisville

Pitch-in dinner at 5:30. Meat will be provided. Please bring a favorite side dish, your beverage, and your place settings. Executive meeting will follow the dinner.


Saturday
Breakfast with the Hahns and Wessels cooking pancakes and link sausage. Juice provided. Coffee pot is on. Please bring your own place settings.

Spend the day in Louisville or in and around Clarksville. See attached list for recommendations.

Lunch on your own. There are several good restaurants in all price ranges very close to Add-More or eat in Louisville.

Dinner is being catered by Famous Dave’s Real Pit Bar-B-Que and consists of Texas Style Beef Brisket, world Famous Wilbur Beans, creamy coleslaw, potato salad, and award winning BBQ Sauce. Texas Sheet cake and ice cream for dessert. All for $10.00 Please bring your own beverage and place settings.

Business meeting will follow diner.

Sunday
Hook-up Breakfast of juice, coffee, donuts from 7:30 to 9:00 a.m. Please bring your own place setting.

Important notes: The building we will be using is large and NOT heated. Be sure to check Louisville weather before you come. There are no ovens, microwaves, refrigerators, etc available in the building.

Things to do at the Rally

Touring suggestions for Louisville. A complete Visitors Guide of Louisville, a detailed street map, and individual brochures of the following places will be provided for each coach. *These four are in close proximity of each other and can be reached via one parking garage. Due to limited and expensive parking we suggest that you car pool as much as possible.

*Muhammad Ali Center *Glassworks

Kentucky Derby Museum
Louisville Stoneware

Touring suggestions for Clarksville area. Individual brochures for the following places will be provided.
Huber Orchard and Winery and Joe Huber Family Farm and Restaurant, Back in Time: Falls of the Ohio State Park.

There are several other attractions within a 25 mile drive of Clarksville. Individual brochures are available at the campground office.

Carolyn Hardacre Will Be Missed


The funeral arrangements for Carolyn Hardacre are to be in Anderson. Calling hours will be at Robert Loose South Chapel 200 W. 53rd St., Anderson, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM Monday, April 6, 2009. The funeral will be held at Westley Free Methodist Church 3017 W. 8th St., Anderson, 11:30 AM Tuesday, April 7, 2009, calling 1 hour before services. Funeral Dinner wil be at Robert Loose Community House 200 W. 53rd St. following the Memorial Park Gravesite Service.
Carolyn Hardacre, wife of Lowell Hardacre, will be missed by all Hoosier Cruiser members.

Time is Running Out

Don't miss the first rally for 2009. If you haven't already sent in your registrtion, click on the registration below, print it, fill it out and send it in to the campground with your registration money and a second copy to Judy Hohl and Rem Remley, Rally Masters. The Assistant Rally Masters are Jim and Nina Francis, and Bettie and Greg Wessel.
