Thanks, Bettie Wessel

p.s. With an OK from the doctor, Bettie is now walking on both legs with a walker.

We spent an enjoyable afternoon
eating good food and visiting with each other. Several members had
already left for warmer climates.
Saturday morning began
with a pancake breakfast prepared by the rally masters and assistant rally
master. Many came back for seconds of
the pancakes and sausages. The rest of
the day was spent sightseeing or attending the wine festival at Ertel
Winery. Again there were crafts, wine
tasting, hayrides, and rides in a Stanley Steamer automobile. We all smiled as the steamer chugged around
the field puffing steam instead of smoke. That evening members made "smores" after roasting marshmallows over a fire in the fireplace. As you can see Richard really enjoyed his sweet dessert.
In addition to enjoying the Tipton County Pork Festival, the Rally Masters made arrangements to tour the Kokomo Glass Factory. What a history factory beginning in 1889. The factory well known for their quality of glass and it supplies stained glass used in Tiffany windows, lamps, and art.May 16-20, 2024 Elkhart, IN Rally Master Linda Murphy and Neil & Sue Wingate
