Come join us for a weekend of exploring the historic town of Crawfordsville, IN in Montgomery County. Sugar Creek Campground is a family-owned campground which was established in 2003.
Weather permitting, there are many activities including canoeing, fishing and water activities.
This area is full of historical sites including a rotary jail, museums and historic homes. Many things that are highlighted refer to a famous author who lived in Crawfordsville—Lew Wallace. He is best known for writing, Ben Hur. He was a pallbearer for Abraham Lincoln’s funeral. Wabash College campus and Carnegie Library Museum are a must to see.
